Fantastic books for all young ages of children; but also for older children who are not familiar with the Christian contents of this wonderful series of books. They are lovely stories of everyday events and the nicer way to consider one another in our daily lives and future morals, while giving the example of Lord Jesus. The stories are written sensitively with humor and wisdom, in a poetic sense of movement and rhythmic rhyme, so easy to read and enjoy. Children of reading age will also love reading these books by themselves. The books suit a wide range of readers of children, as based on Bible stories; which make the findings and truth in the Bible very accurate and easy to understand. Added to the stories, the pages are full of delightful illustrations helping the thread of the meaning. The drawings are of the most lovable animal characters all very sweet; which are so enjoyable with very human traits which express all of us in some ways: particularly through all their adventures, near escapes/ scrapes and misses all through. These great characters follow on through the series, such excellent continuity. The books have a very human and gentle feel telling us the story of Lord Jesus and His mission of His earthly life and thereafter. The stories also give the reference of the verses from the Bible, relevant to the books' storylines. It is the perfect platform and preparation to learn about the Bible; especially for those children wishing the continuation to study the Bible more deeply. Truly marvelous books which I love for myself too, at a 'way beyond my childhood age !!'
The author, Yvonne Taylor, is also the illustator. Congratulations to her, on I believe her first series of books, called The Hartlie Series.
